Naaladiyaar – 158

Deaf to words spoken behind,
Blind to other man’s wife,
Mute to hurtful slander,
If one is so, he needs no advice.

பிறர்மறை யின்கட் செவிடாய்த் திறனறிந்
தேதிலா ரிற்கட் குருடனாய்த் தீய
புறங்கூற்றின் மூகையாய் நிற்பானேல், யாதும்
அறங்கூற வேண்டா அவற்கு.
