even if he has faults, we must reconcile;
every grain has chaff; water has froth;
even a flower has faded petals.

Think that life’s brief like a dewdrop on a grass tip,
and do good deeds now itself; – as it’s often said
“a moment ago he stood here, laid down a bit,
and now he’s gone, leaving his kin to wail”
புல்நுனிமேல் நீர்போல் நிலையாமை என்றெண்ணி
இன்னினியே செய்க அறவினை;-இன்னினியே
நின்றான் இருந்தான் கிடந்தான்தன் கேள்அலறச்

Freshwater’s found near seaside too,
Saltwater’s found atop mountains too;
Hence, Coastal chief, men are judged
based on their wisdom , not on their birth.
